Houston, TX–A local student was hit after exiting a bus. On December 8, Tuesday, at around 4 pm, the student got off this bus. After he had gotten out of the bus and went around the back of it, he was crossing the road when a car passed the bus and hit two children. One student suffered a minor injury to a hand. The other student, however, flew 20 feet and hit his head.
The bus from which the boys had come had stopped on the road, put out its stop sign, and had flashed its red lights. The individual who was driving the car will face charges for passing a school bus. If the student suffers serious injuries, the driver will face additional charges as well.
